In the last two decades of his life, the need to put his experience and sensitivity on paper, made Douglas Norris embark on Literature, writing a series of 19 Volumes of thoughts, poems and tales which he called "Pegados nos Largados":

May my soul be invaded by what I lack
May my body rest in my dreams
May I die leaving at least a vaccum even though unnoticed
To give my space to those who come and bring what I could not leave.
